Bologna Cooking Classes

Bologna is one of the world’s greatest food cities, home to classics like tagliatelle al ragù, tortellini, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, and some of the finest cured meats in Italy. You might be used to calling it “spaghetti bolognese,” but in Bologna the famous meat sauce is always served with tagliatelle, and no matter the name, it remains a local favourite. It comes as no surprise that the city is frequently referred to as Italy’s culinary capital. Handmade pasta and slow-cooked sauces are the foundation of the rich, exceptional cuisine of Bologna, but the imagination and excellence continue with sweet treats like soft jam-filled raviole, rustic fruit pastries, creamy torta di riso, and melt in mouth zuppa inglese.

In addition to its remarkable cuisine, Bologna is full of charm and history. It is home to the oldest university in the world, founded in 1088, and well known for its endless covered porticoes that stretch across the city, adding to city`s lively atmosphere.
